Middle = SMA(close, 20). Upper = middle + 2 × rolling stdev(close, 20). Lower = middle − 2 × rolling stdev. Bands widen with volatility and contract during compression (the 'squeeze' setup). Touches of the bands are not signals on their own — context (trend, RSI, breakouts) is required.
